National Museum of Natural History

The National Museum of Natural History is home to a wide range of facinating items that range from the 45.5 Hope Diamond to  the Orkin Insect Zoo, the largest African Bush Elephant ever found, and a large collection dinosaur fossils.   The National Museum of Natural History houses nearly 120 million objects and artifacts displaying approximately one million at any one time.  The NMNH is located at 10th & Constitution Avenue.
