National Archives and Records Administration ( NARA )

The National Archives provides visitors with the ability to inspect for themselves the record of what government has done.  It is also the residence of the documents that detail the rights of American citizens, the actions of federal officials, and the national experience.   NARA documents of particular to most visitors  are located in the National Archives Rotunda and generally include the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence.
