Arlington National Cemetery

Arlington National cemetery is the burial location for Veterans from all of the nation's wars from the American Revolution to date.  The Tomb of the Unknown is one of the more-visited sites at Arlington National Cemetery.  The Arlington House which overlooks the cemetery, was built by George Washington's adopted grandson, George Washington Parke Custis.  Arlington House was the home of Robert E. Lee prior to the Civil War and has a facinating history.

More than four million people visit the Arlington National Cemetery annually, many coming to pay final respects at graveside services.
