American University

American University actively promotes international understanding, and this is reflected in its curricula offerings, faculty research, and the regular presence of world leaders on campus.  AU's more than 5,000 undergraduates from both the U.S. and more than 150 countries, all share a desire to shape tomorrow's world.   American University is also home to the American Eagles basketball team.

American University  is located on Ward Circle, at the intersection of Massachusetts and Nebraska Avenues, NW, in Washington, DC. AU is convenient to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Dulles Airport International, and Baltimore Washington International Airport, as well as Union Station and interstate highways.
